My samsung s8 will not download apps

I have factory reset my phone, ensured that the MMS auto download is on, the service center flashed the phone, and I have done all the things. When I am in a group text, I will recieve some of the texts but then some of them will not download. The text will fall under the person who sent it and it will have the following:. At this point, I am ready to give up on Samsung. The service location could not resolve the issue and told me that I would have to send the phone into the service center without a temp being provided.

Obviously, sending my phone in without a back up is not an option. I have been having this issue for about two months now. It happens when I am on my mobile data only and wifi only. If anyone has any ideas, I would greatly appreciate it. Hopefully it'll help a lot of people out. Any help appreciated Thanks. Johnison First Poster. My Problem was my phone was too full. I had the same issue till I removed some junk. Hi I have the same problem. The apps after download ,whould not install. Your phone will give you the option to back up the data on the Google account before you reset the device.

Once the reset is complete, your device will automatically restart. Go to the Play Store and check if the problem you were facing has been fixed. Sometimes you may not be able to download the apps to your device because of insufficient space. You will have to delete a few things from your device to make space at times like these.

Check if you have too many photos or videos on your device, which may be eating into the storage. Move these files to your computer to increase the space of your device.

You may have to uninstall some apps if you need enough space for large apps. To uninstall the apps, go to the Settings menu of your device and look for Apps or Application Manager. Now tap on the apps that you want to uninstall, and you will get the option to uninstall the app on the next screen.

Tap on uninstall and confirm the uninstallation. Alternatively, users on the latest version of Android will be able to long-press on the app they wish to uninstall, and they will automatically see the options to uninstall the app on the top of the screen. All you need to do is drag the app icon to the uninstall option on the screen, and the app will be uninstalled. This error is related to the Play Service and not specific to your device.

Clear the data for Google Services Framework to resolve this problem. Follow these steps to remove the data files:. Once you clear the data, head into the Play Store and check if the error has been resolved. If you still find the same error showing up on your screen, then access the Google Play Site from your computer. Install the app to your computer, and then the app will work on your device.

These errors can occur for some problems with the Google Play Store. However, the best solution for all these errors is to clear the cache and data of Google Play Store and Google Services Framework from your device and check if the problem is resolved. For most of our readers who found any of these errors while downloading apps from the store, this solution seemed to have worked.

We have mentioned the steps for clearing the cache and data files in the solutions above. Restart your device after deleting all the files and then check if the problem has been fixed.

When you get this error, you must first delete the cache and data of Google Services. We have mentioned the steps for doing this in the solutions above. If this does not fix your problem, then check if you are still logged in if you are using a Wi-Fi connection that uses a web page login.

If it still does not work, you must try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network, and if you do not have the option to connect to another Wi-Fi network, you must use the mobile data option. Remember that this option will use up data from your plan, and if you do not have a plan, you may incur charges.

The problem usually occurs because of the Wi-Fi connection which is being used. It may not be obvious right away, but a wonky color temperature is something you can't unsee. Problem 1 — Red tint on the display. Potential solutions: Samsung is aware of the problem and is already rolling out a software update that should fix it. Until then, you can also go over to the display settings and color balance and manually adjust them till the display becomes easier to view. There do seem to be conflicting reports about whether this is a software or a hardware problem.

Potential solutions: This is another problem that has been acknowledged by Samsung, and a software update is also now available that helps fix it. Problem 3 — Auto-rotate not working. Boot the device in Safe Mode you can find the instructions below , and see if the problem persists. This could also be an issue with the accelerometer and G-sensor as well. If this proves to be a hardware issue, the only option will be to pick up a replacement device. A temporary workaround that has worked for some is using an app like Rotation Control that can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.

This will let you manually trigger the switch to the landscape orientation. Problem 4 — Google Launcher not working.

Potential solutions: As mentioned, you are better off opting for another third-party launcher like Nova instead of the Google launchers.
